Double chocolate brownies with milk chocolate, smoked almonds and sea salt on top…this is a like a very delicious grown up candy bar. The center is gooey and rich, and the topping combines sweet, crunchy and salty. This recipe was discovered in an old Better Homes and Garden magazine and is truly perfection in every morsel!

Ingredients
- 8 ounces semi sweet chocolate chopped
- 1 cup butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 2 1/4 cups smoked almonds chopped coarsely
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 6 eggs

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Line a 9" x 13" baking pan with parchment paper and grease paper.
- In large saucepan over low heat, melt chopped chocolate and butter. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
- Stir sugar into chocolate mixture. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder and baking soda. Add to the chocolate mixture, stirring just until combined. Add in half of the milk chocolate chips.
- Pour into the prepared pan and smooth. Top with reserved milk chocolate chips and chopped almonds. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake for about 35 minutes, or until the top is dry and firm. Center will be gooey. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Chill before cutting into bars.
