Instructions
  1. Make the crumb topping: In medium bowl, combine 1/3 cup brown sugar and tbsp. white sugar, cinnamon and melted butter. Stir in the 2/3 cup flour and combine until crumbly. Set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 425. Fill muffin tin with paper liners or spray with cooking spray.
  3. Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and 1 tsp. cinnamon together and set aside.
  4. Make the muffins: Beat the 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup white sugar until smooth and creamy, about two minutes, scraping sides as needed. Add the eggs, yogurt and 2 tsp. vanilla. Beat on medium speed for one minute, then on high until it is all combined.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet and combine. Add the milk and apples, mixing well.
  6. Spoon batter into the muffin cups, filling to top. Press a handful of the crumb topping onto the top of each.
  7. Bake for 5 minutes at 425, then lower the oven temperature to 350 and bake for abut 15 more minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Remove from oven.
  8. Make the glaze: Whisk confectioners sugar, cream and vanilla together and drizzle over the top of the warm muffins.
